Hanover tennis players can now take up their favourite past time again.
After months of waiting, the new tennis courts are complete in Hanover.
The new courts are located beside the Family YMCA on the old James A Magee School property.
The fresh new courts are not only brighter but larger than the old courts which were located at the south end of town.
The old courts were torn down this summer to make room for a parking lot to serve the soon-to-be constructed 500-seat Community Banquet Hall.
This is a Hanover Raceway and Agriculture Society project, and both groups financed the tennis court relocation project.
Councillor Rick Hopkins says the old courts were showing their age and the new one’s look great.
