More people are needed to help run the Municipal election in Owen Sound.
Manager of Elections, Marion Koepke, says it takes about 150 workers to manage the election and they are shy about 40.
She says if people want to help on election day they have to go to the Clerks Department at City Hall and fill out an application form.
Koepke says this is not a volunteer position, as people are paid to help run the election.
She says the district returning officer will make 180 dollars for the day, while poll clerks and revision clerks make 170 dollars.
Koepke says it is a long day so people should be prepared.
They must be there from 9 AM until well after the polls close at 8 PM.
