The municipal election is fast approaching.
And Bayshore Broadcasting News wanted to know if you have been paying attention to what’s been going on so far.
Everyone we spoke to stressed how important it is to get out and vote.
They also agreed that if you don’t vote — you can’t complain.
One man said that every person needs to vote, because that’s your responsibility if you live in a democratic country.
Another man said that if you don’t vote, and then complain, you deserve what you get.
And one woman said that if you don’t vote, you should just sit and be quiet.
The majority of people we talked to also said that they’ll be paying much more attention to local politic once the election is a bit closer.
Only a few people said that they won’t really be paying too much attention until election day on October 25th.
