Today marks the 157th Sydenham School Fall Fair.
One of the organizers, Valerie Manning, says it is the last student fair that runs in this area.
This year it will be held again in Morestown Village at Grey Roots Museum and Archives just outside of Owen Sound.
Manning says the students J-K through 8 all will participate in everything from the pet show to garden club displays – photography displays to baking.
Manning says the kids look forward to the fair every year and the location of Grey Roots is perfect.
Manning says Grey Roots fits into the student and educational angle for the fair.
The students will also be touring the exhibits at Grey Roots during the day.
Opening ceremonies start at 10 AM and wrap up at 2 PM — but the exhibits are open to the public until 7 PM.
