The Let’s All Play Fundraising Campaign is closer to reaching it’s goal for the Rotary Accessible Playground at Jubilee Park in Southampton.
The Port Elgin Lion’s Club donated 25 hundred dollars on Thursday.
The money was raised through various fundraising initiatives.
Over a thousand dollars was raised by the Ladies Auxiliary Branch through a raffle for a hand made quilt.
Saugeen Shores Director of Community Services Mike Myatt says they are now about 25 hundred to five thousand dollars away from reaching it’s goal of 350 thousand dollars.
He adds the Rotary Accessible Park and Bruce Power Sensory Garden has brought new life to Jubilee Park, and he’s glad there is a place for everybody of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
