Do you have a “lego-ite” in your family?
They usually are a child between the ages of five and twelve who are obsessed with all things lego.
Now the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is tapping into that love again with a fall edition of their lego workshop that proved to be so popular this past summer.
Stephanie Riggs, the Education Outreach Coordinator for the museum says the workshops always draw a lot of kids.
Today’s workshop starts at 10 AM and runs until Noon at the museum and features mosaic building.
Riggs says each child will build a piece with lego and then they will connect them all together for a mosaic.
Also on hand today is the “Brick Chick”, a stay at home from the Kitchener Waterloo area with a love for all things lego.
Riggs says she is a lego builder who’s creations have been seen at the museum in the past.
She will help the children ages five through fifteen with their creations.
The workshop is $20 for non-members, and $15 for members at the museum.
Another instalment of the lego workshops happens October 23rd.
