A young woman from Teeswater is this year’s International Plowing Match Queen of the Furrow.
Tammy Fischer, while representing Bruce County, was crowned Queen at Thursday night’s competition in Elgin County.
Charlotte Curley of Keppel Sarawak and Dana Bell from North Grey County also had strong finishes.
Curley also finished third in the Queen plowing competition while Fischer was 5th.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Queen of the Furrow program.
