Scotiabank in Owen Sound is about to undergo a major facelift.
The bank has announced a major renovation will begin soon and it will be done in stages, outside of normal banking hours.
Branch Manager Bob Beaver says the work will not inconvenience customers but once complete, it will enhance their customer service.
The project includes the development of a second floor at the bank, plus more private offices and the installation of new media screens.
The bank wouldn’t release the pricetag for the project — but Beaver says it’s a substantial amount.
He adds it’s the first major renovation since Scotiabank merged with National Trust more than 10 years ago.
Beaver calls it a significant investment and commitment to Owen Sound’s downtown core.
He notes their staff are pleased and excited about the renovations and upgrades.
