If you have ever searched high and low for answers to a question — then there is a lecture going on in Southampton you would be interested in.
The Waddingtons have been in search of the location of some of the Group of Seven painting locations for over 30 years now.
The adventures have taken Sue and Jim to Kilarney Provincial Park as well as Algonquin and locations.
Nancy White — the Program Coordinator for the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre — met the Waddingtons at a lecture she attended and realized their passion for the research.
White says the couple has done in depth research and their power point presentation will feature a lot of the information including super-imposing the current landscape over the painting.
White says the discoveries of the Waddingtons is amazing, seeing as they have found over 100 locales of the paintings.
The talk happens on Saturday at 7:30 PM at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre and is in partnership with Friends of MacGregor Park.
Tickets to see the Waddingtons are $5 for members of the museum and the general public at $10.
