Federal NDP leader Jack Layton will be touring through the area today.
Layton will be making stops in Clinton, Holmesville and Goderich.
Amongst the activities he’ll be a part of, the party will be announcing their candidate for the next federal election.
Paisley area farmer Grant Robertson is seeking the NDP nomination in Huron Bruce.
He is the former Ontario head of the National Farmers Union.
Robertson ran for the NDP in the last federal election — but says other parties out-spent him in the final weeks of the campaign and pulled ahead in the polls.
The nomination meeting takes places at 7:30 PM at Goderich District Collegiate Institute.
