Ward Two councillor Betty Hall has resigned from South Bruce Peninsula Council.
In a letter handed out to media attending Tuesday night’s meeting, Hall states she will be unable to fulfill her term due to an unamed medical condition.
Hall says she applauds the community spirit of her constituents and their enthusiasm will give her tremendous encouragement towards her recovery.
The Allenford area resident says it’s a very private time for she and her family but she wishes everyone the best in the future.
Hall was just completing a four year term as Councillor.
