Sunday ambulance service in South Bruce Peninsula is spotty at best, according to Councillor Wray Lamont.
Lamont says during the summer months, the population in South Bruce Peninsula on a Sunday can explode to 30 thousand people.
He says if there is more than one accident, needing amublance service, help has to be called in from Tobermory or Port Elgin.
Lamont says his concern was brought to council last night because it was brought to him by a doctor and ambulance drivers.
He says he doesn’t know what can be done about it, but you won’t know if you don’t try.
Meanwhile, Mayor Gwen Gilbert, who is also a county councillor will bring the matter up with the Emergency Services Manager.
Ambulance service is the responsibility of Bruce County.
