A Mount Forest man is facing drunk driving charges after he allegedly plowed into group of people and musicians at a Jazz festival in Guelph.
Police say it happened just after 5:30 PM Saturday when man driving northbound approached a large group of people and reportedly accelerated into the crowd.
Five people were injured.
Police say the driver was unresponsive when they arrived and had to smash the window of his car to take it out of gear.
The 63 year old man is facing dangerous and impaired driving charges.
No name has been released.
