There is a special fundraiser today for a nine-year-old girl from Walkerton.
A benefit car bike, care and truck show is being held from 11 AM to 2 PM today at Lobie’s Park in Walkerton.
It’s a fundraiser for Jasmine Rutledge, who is fighting Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).
Currently, she is going into her second round of chemotherapy, after being diagnosed on July 23rd.
Her treatments are expected to last two-and-a-half years.
The money raised from today’s Show and Shine and barbeque will help the family cover expenses for travel and care.
