No change at the top in Georgian Bluffs….
Mayor Alan Barfoot has been acclaimed for another term, and Deputy Mayor Dwight Burley is also back .
Neither was challenged for their seats on council this fall.
Meanwhile, 8 people are running for the 5 other seats on council.
Incumbent councillors Tom Wiley, Ryan Thompson, Carol Barfoot and Judy Gay will run again. Newcomers vying for spots are Randy Hingston, Robert Lennox, Ted Dixon and Tom Waller.
It’s a far cry from the last election in 2006, when Barfoot and Burley each won a two-man race and 14 people contested the five council seats.
