A total of 800 homes spent part of Saturday in the dark.
The number fluctuated hourly, as gusty winds brought down electricity lines and Hydro One crews hurry to make repairs.
At 11 AM Saturday — there were only about 500 people without service on the Bruce peninsula and all along the Lake Huron shoreline down to the Goderich area.
Earlier today though, over five thousand customers near Kincardine were in the dark.
Their hydro was restored around 9:30 AM.
