One person is dead following a collision between a car and a dump truck on Highway 6 south of Varney.
According to Grey County OPP — the crash happened just before 2 PM Monday in a construction zone south of Maplewood Road.
Police say a loaded dump truck heading northbound on Highway 6 crossed into the southbound lane and struck a northbound car.
Both vehicles came to rest at the entrance of a nearby business.
The driver of the car died at the scene as a result of their injuries and the driver of the dump truck was not hurt.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
The OPP are still investigating.
