Saugeen Shores Police have busted a teenager for illegal drugs while trying to help out during an argument.
Police were called to an apartment on Goderich Street in Port Elgin last Saturday night to help the tennant remove a person from the unit.
Friends of the complainant had come over to help, but then an argument escalated, and the unwanted person allegedly threatened and assaulted one of the friends.
When police officers showed up, illegal drugs were in plain view.
A police drug investigator was contacted and a search warrant was obtained.
Marijuana, cannabis resin and cocaine was seized.
A 16 year old Saugeen Shores male has been charged with assault, uttering threats and three counts of possession of a controlled drug.
