A cyclist escaped serious injury after crashing into a pick up truck south of Red Bay.
Bruce Peninsula OPP say a northbound pickup truck turned left at Huron Road around 8:40 AM Monday — directly into the path of a bicycle.
A 47 year old man from Owen Sound was riding the bike — and was taken to Wiarton hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police have charged the truck driver — a 59 year old man from Wiarton — with making an illegal turn.
