Lucknow residents really came through for Mary’s Restaurant over the weekend.
An appreciation night for the owners, Mary and Russ Mackie, raised two thousand dollars on Friday night.
A kitchen fire back in mid July left the restaurant in need of major repairs, but since insurance will be covering the costs the Mackie’s hadn’t wanted a benefit night.
Instead the community came together to show their support and appreciation for the owners.
The money raised is being donated to Lucknow Minor Sports.
