Six hikers lost on the shores of Georgian Bay east of Lion’s Head have been found safe and sound.
Five 15-year old boys and a 45 year old woman — all of the Elmira area — were found Wednesday morning.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were first notified they were missing at 9 PM Tuesday when someone in the group called 911.
They were found 10 hours later — at 7 AM Wednesday — after several attempts by the OPP and the K9 Unit to find the cellphone’s general location.
They were picked up by an OPP boat and checked over at the Lion’s Head hospital before being released.
