There’s competition for Mayor of Brockton — and now a race for Deputy Mayor.
Councillor Dan Gieruszak will challenge incumbent Roland Anstett for Deputy Mayor.
Gieruszak points to leadership and says he can help drive the municipality and map them in the right direction.
Residents he spoke with wanted stronger leadership and a strategic plan.
Gieruszak says he can deliver both.
Gieruszak comes in with six years of experience on the South Bruce Grey
Health Centre Hospital Board, he is a founding board member of the Brockton and Area Family Health Team, the South West Economic Alliance and the Grey Bruce Regional Economic Development Partnership.
Earlier this summer, Councillor David Inglis filed to run against two-term incumbent Mayor Charlie Bagnato.
Voting for Municipal elections go on October 25th of this year.
