The Grey County man charged with murder in a bazarre incident involving a tractor last month, has a court date today.
48 year old Laurie Porteus of Chatsworth township, is charged with second degree murder and attempted murder after two women where hit with a tractor July 2nd on a farm just north of Chatsworth.
A date will be set today for a bail hearing to be held in Ontario Superior court.
Grey county OPP say two women were hit with a tractor.
26 year old Sareena Denesiuk of the Alliston area died following the incident.
A post mortem shows she suffered multiple internal injuries.
27 year old April Smith of Chatsworth township was also injured but recovered.
Smith had a common law relationship with the accused.
