Not only did these campers pitch their tent over the weekend, they were involved in a pitched battle as well.
Two men were injured, one seriously in a fight between two groups of campers in the early morning hours of Saturday August 14th.
Bruce Peninsula OPP was called to the North Sauble Sands Campgrounds at 1:46 AM.
Upon arrival police found two men injured, one by a beer bottle and the other was stabbed.
One man was arrested at the scene and the second person was identified by witnesses and arrested at another camp site.
A 24 year old man now charged with assault, and a 18 year old charged with assault with a weapon.
Both injured men were transported to hospital where they were treated.
The stabbing victim remains hospitalized.
Both men are from Mississauga.
