A 50 year old Paisley man is dead following a three vehicle crash just outside of Hanover.
West Grey Police Chief Rene Berger says the collision happened around 1:30 PM Thursday on sideroad 5 of Bentinck Township at Concession 4.
One vehicle entered the intersection and was struck by a truck hauling a trailer.
The truck went out of control, struck another vehicle and then a tree.
Barry McTeer of Paisley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two other drivers — 70 year old Dianne Unruh of Elmwood and 28 year old Sarah Kennedy of Chesley — were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Kennedy faces several charges including failing to remain at an accident causing death.
Kennedy is appearing in a Walkerton court for a bail hearing.
OPP technical traffic unit assisted West Grey Police at the scene and Elmwood firefighters extricated the victim.
