A bizarre police standoff of sorts in Hanover.
West Grey Police say a 30 year old Meaford man barricaded himself under a residential deck Wednesday morning and refused to come out.
Police had to subdue the man after they say he exhibited bizarre behaviour.
Apparently the man dug his way under the deck in what Police call a drug induced state.
The Meaford man spent the day in jail sobering up and will appear in Walkerton court September 20th to face charges of trespassing and mischief under five thousand dollars.
