Kincardine councillor Randy Roppel is going to run again.
Roppel has filed papers to once again represent voters in Ward Three which is Bruce Township.
To date he is the only declared candidate for the one seat in that ward.
He says it’s always an honour to serve the people of Ward 3 and he believes he still has that strong voice to bring to the table to represent his constituents.
Roppel mentioned there are many issues the municipality needs to address over the next four year term.
Among them is the hospital issue.
Roppel says it will either be a re-fit or a new build but in any event Kincardine Hospital needs to maintain the services it has now and to add to them in the future.
He also calls on the provincial government to do the honourable thing and have a comprehensive study on the health effects of wind turbines on residents.
Roppel has been in municipal politics for over 15 years and resides in Tiverton with his wife.
The municipal election is October 25th.
