Lambton Community Health has declared the north and south beaches in Grand Bend as unsafe for swimming, but beaches at the Pinery, in Ipperwash and Bright’s Grove have been deemed OK.
As well the Huron County Health Unit says all beaches in Goderich, Port Albert, Port Blake and Black’s Point posted over on Thursday’s testing…
You might still be able to swim but it’s good to check the clarity of the water before going completely in the lake.
And there’s a beach closure in the Kincardine area..
Station Park Beach has been posted as unsafe for swimming for the third time this summer..
The Grey Bruce Health Unit says water samples taken Wednesday have high bacteria levels.
But there’s good news in Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Black Creek Beach — also known as Old Woman River — is safe for swimming.
Officials removed the advisory signs on Friday as water tests show lower bacteria levels and they are well within Ministry of Health standards.
