Good news for swimmers in Owen Sound.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit has finally re-opened Kelso and Bayshore Beaches to swimming.
The beaches were posted as unsafe for swimming on July 13th because of high bacteria levels in the water.
But now health officials say samples taken on Tuesday show the levels are well within Ministry of Health standards.
But there is still one beach posted as unsafe.
Black Creek — also known as Old Woman’s River — in Northern Bruce Peninsula has been posted as unsafe for swimming due to high bacteria levels.
