Brockton Council is urging Bruce County to do something about what council calls a dangerous intersection.
The Narva intersection located at County Roads 15 and 20 has been the site of many collisions — some quite serious — and Brockton says its time to do something about it.
Councillor Dan Gieruszak blames poor site lines.
He says the old Narva school house sits right on the corner of the intersection resulting in the poor site lines.
He says cottage traffic not familiar with the intersection often blow right through it without seeing the stop sign until it’s too late.
Council would like Bruce County to either add a flashing red light to the stop sign, speed bumps or some other means to draw attention to the stop sign.
The Narva intersection is located between Glammis and Pinkerton.
