It is the way artists intend their work to be seen — under natural light in a relaxed atmosphere.
The “Art on the Fence” show presented by the Shoreline Artists is once again being presented today at Chantry Breeze Bed and Breakfast in Southampton.
One of the volunteer coordinators – Ken Cassavoy – says the wealth of artisans in the Saugeen Shores area is overwhelming.
Many will be showcased at the exhibit with over 30 artisans taking part involving many medians – from oils to watercolours to jewellery and wood.
Cassavoy says the joy of this exhibit is it is outside under natural light in a very informal setting.
Cassavoy says the grounds of Chantry Breeze are beautiful and relaxing and a perfect way to introduce people to the art of Southampton and area.
Artisans will be coming from – not only Saugeen Shores – but from Kincardine – Walkerton – Tara and many more in Grey bruce.
The show runs 9 AM til 2 PM and is free admission.
All artists work will be for sale at the show.
