A gruesome find for some swimmers at Wasaga Beach.
People who were at Beach Area Three near 18th street yesterday morning spotted the body of a man who had disappeared into Georgian Bay nearly a month ago.
Police confirm the body that washed up yesterday is that of Allan Swan.
The 43 year old man who left his parents’ home in Collingwood June 18th, planning to kayak to his cottage in Wasaga Beach.
His kayak and paddle were found the next day.
Police say an autopsy will be done today to determine the cause of death.
Swan grew up in the Saugeen Shores area and went to Saugeen District Secondary School.
