It’s Hanover’s biggest block party and everyone is invited.
The town is bustling with excitement as it plays host to its sixth annual Sights and Sounds Festival.
Event Organizer Stephanie Crilly promises a fun filled day for the entire family.
Hanover’s downtown has been transformed into a street festival as live music fills the air and street performers entertain the crowds.
Car and motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region and beyond are also on hand to showcase their classics with the Cruisin to Sights and Sounds Car Show.
A large section of 10th Street in Hanover has been closed to traffic allowing the festival to spill out into the streets.
Crilly says Heritage Square will also be bustling with activity all day long.
Whether it’s the Kidz Games and Crafts, the Bouncy Castle or the Reptile Show, Crilly says children are sure to be entertained.
There’s also Festival Food, a Kidz Talent Contest, and various musical and dance performances.
Tonight music will again fill the air with the Street Dance.
Crilly says this is the Festival’s most popular event and it’s always sold out.
The Festival wraps up tomorrow with a Blues and Jazz Concert in the Hanover Park beginning at 1 PM.
