The Ontario Green Party Leader will be in Paisley today.
Mike Schreiner will be speaking at GreenFolk at Doctor Milne Conservation Park — which is sponsored by the Bruce Grey Owen Sound Green Association.
Greenfolk will feature folk singer James Gordon and other local musicians with a special concert at 7 PM.
Members of the Green Party will also talk about ‘what it means to be Green.’
Gordon is also holding a songwriters workshop at 4 PM and a free barbeque featuring local food starting at 5 PM.
Admission is by donation and tax receipts will be available for donations over 20 dollars.
The Green Party is preparing for an eventual federal election campaign and will hold a nomination meeting for the riding on August 17th in Owen Sound.
