Two more beaches in Bruce County have been posted as unsafe for swimming.
Camper Beach at MacGregor Point Provincial Park near Port Elgin has been posted with advisory signs by the Ministry of Health.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit has also posted Lion’s Head Beach.
The water samples from both beaches show bacteria levels exceeding Ministry standards.
Our Medical Officer of Health advises swimmers that the high levels of bacteria in the water may pose a risk to their health.
Health officials believe the heavy rain early Monday morning is the reason behind the unsafe swimming postings.
