A Saugeen Shores resident is ready to back up his vocal concerns about the Bluewater District School Board.
Kevin Larson has filed his nomination papers to run for the trustee’s position in Saugeen Shores and Arran Elderslie.
Larson is a Bruce Power employee and father of two attending Saugeen District Secondary School.
Larson has been very vocal regarding the transparency and governance of the public school board.
Larson says he’s seen the best the board can offer but the past couple of years, he believes he’s also seen the worst.
He says he wants to see the board doing the work that the parents of school children can be proud of and have confidence.
Larson says if elected he wants to raise the awareness of trustees that they are the ones in charge, rather than taking a back seat to what administrations feels should be done.
The seat is open since incumbent Ross King has announced he will not seek re-election in October.
