A close call for two men at Sauble Beach.
The visitors from Brampton and Alliston had rented a seadoo on Saturday afternoon and were due back at 4:30 PM.
When they did not return a rental employee was sent out to search for them and spotted the watercraft without its riders drifting about 3 kilometres from shore.
The watercraft was towed back to the beach and police were called.
While search efforts were being organized, a boat coming north from Kincardine happened upon the men floating about 1 kilometre from shore.
The men were pulled aboard and taken to Sauble Beach where they were taken by ambulance to the Wiarton Hospital for observation.
