The 41st annual Southampton Craft Show is set to showcase thousands of one-of-a-kind items.
Show co-coordinator Stephanie Murray says they have over 120 artists and artisans setting up booths for the show today at the Southampton Coliseum.
The event will run from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Murray says they’ll have everything for the home or cottage or even for this year’s Christmas gifts, such as pottery, jewelry; paintings, gourmet food, fine woodworking and toys.
She says this year, besides participants from the local region, they have others coming in from across Ontario and some from Quebec as well.
Admission is three dollars while children under 12 are free.
Murray says in addition, the Southampton Rotary Club will be hosting their whitefish dinner again and there’s a special “pie and ice cream” room as well.
Net proceeds from this one-day event goes to PRANCE — Pegasus Riding Association Nurturing Challenged Equestrians.
Murray says it’s a therapeutic equestrian program dedicated to the growth and development of people with physical, emotional or developmental challenges.
PRANCE operates in Saugeen Shores, on Highway 21 across from the Kenorus camp site.
