For the fourth time a mission hailing from Hanover is answering the needs of the impoverished in Zimbabwe.
Barry Mutrie heads the eight member team — organized by the Hanover Pentecostal Church — as they head to the 3rd world country to aid in supplies – english teaching skills and construction building.
Mutrie says although many other countries are suffering from devastation — such as the Haitian people — it is important they continue their efforts in Zimbabwe.
Mutrie adds Zimbabwe is a country with medical needs from AIDS and a staggering inflation and unemployment rate.
He is now seeking the help of you as donations are needed for the mission for things such as medical supplies, backpacks for children and school supplies.
Bigger ticket items such as a computer and a digital camera are also needed.
Mutrie says people from across the all over the region including Wingham are participating for the fourth trip to the country.
While there participants will help in the construction of new buildings as well as help teach english to students as well as visit families whose children are being sponsored by people here in Canada.
The mission leaves July 10th and they will be working there for two weeks.
