A founding meeting of the Young Liberals of Bruce Grey Owen Sound will be held tonight in Chesley.
Organizer Kaisha Thompson is also the Campaign director for Social Media for the ridings’ Federal liberal candidate Kimberley Love.
Thompson has been working with Liberal youth directors Andrew Loucks of Chesley and Chris Walker of Dobbintonon organizing the group.
Anyone between 14 and 26 can join the Bruce Grey Owen Sound Young Liberal association at the founding meeting on Monday, at 7 PM at Bierman’s Bar and Grill.
A membership costs 10 dollars.
Thompson says they only need 10 members to form an Association and she is confident they will have more that than number at the meeting.
A number of events are also planned once the Young Liberal Association is formed including a mini-golf tournament, karoke night and a baseball tournament.
