Bruce Peninsula OPP are continuing the search today for an elderly man after he went missing from the Golden Dawn Nursing Home in Lions Head.
Constable Dave Meyer says 90 civilian volunteers are helping the OPP in the search of wooded areas and fields in the area.
Meyer says residents are also asked to check their property, if they live in the Lion’s Head area.
Clayton McKague was last seen at Noon on Saturday.
An immediate search of the facility and area did not locate the man and police were called.
Bruce Peninsula OPP with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response team, the OPP helicopter and 60 local volunteers searched into the night Saturday but couldn’t find him.
The 71 year old McKague, is a life long resident of Lions Head.
He is described as 5 foot, 8 inches tall, brown grey hair combed over, frail build and walked with a stoop.
He was wearing a burgundy golf shirt and track pants with a stripe down the leg and black shoes.
