The World Cup is underway in South Africa, with some big name teams still waiting to play their first game of the tournament.
And Bayshore Broadcasting News wanted to know if you’re watching the event, or if you plan on catching any games at all.
Most people we spoke to said that they’ll watch a few games eventually.
One man said that he probably won’t be watching though, because he’s a hockey guy.
Another man told us that although he doesn’t plan on watching games during this tournament, in 2006 he watched some games at a nearby bar, where he had to cheer for “a certain team” to get a beer.
One woman told us that her 87 year old mother stayed up late to catch some of the games.
And another man said that because he can’t cheer for Canada, he’ll be rooting for the U-S.
