If you have no plans for lunch on Thursday, you might want to take in the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce BBQ.
The 4th annual Open House, BBQ and Membership Drive will be on from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Goderich Street facility.
Chamber General Manager Joanne Robbins says the event is simply an opportunity for everyone, members and non-members to see what the Chamber has to offer as far as services are concerned.
Robbins says they’re also home to the tourism office and the Small Business Enterprise Centre.
She says the Lions Club will be cooking the hot dogs and the burgers.
Robbins says the event also serves as a membership drive.
She says the Chamber is always looking for new members and already boast an impressive 400-plus membership list.
Non-members attending the BBQ will have a chance to win a year’s membership while current members will have a chance to win six months of free advertising on the Chamber’s website.
