The eyes of Saugeen Shores could be upon you.
Saugeen Shores Police are starting up their Community Watch program again this summer.
Police Chief Dan Rivett says the watch program has volunteers, two to a vehicle, cruising the town, looking for any suspicious activity and reporting it to police.
Rivett is quick to point out that he doesn’t want volunteers to get involved in any incident.
They are the ears and eyes that can report to the police and the police will take care of it from there.
Rivett says if you’re interested in being part of the program, you can get an application form at the police station.
You have to be at least 19; be a full or summer time resident of Saugeen Shores; have a criminal background check and take part in a short training session.
Rivett says volunteers are only asked for six hours of service a month.
