The case against a Walkerton man charged with injuring a baby is going to trial.
27 year old Terry Lee Clarkson is charged with aggravated assault after a 19 month old baby was injured last November.
Police say the baby’s mother returned home to find her infant in medical distress and was treated at the London hospital for serious injuries.
Clarkson will appear in assignment court in Owen Sound on April 7th to set a date for trial.
Police say Clarkson was involved in a short term common-law relationship with the baby’s mother and had been living with her in Walkerton on the date of the incident.
