The world’s largest nuclear power generating facility has publicly committed to promoting the values of gender equality and diversity within its ranks.
Bruce Power President and CEO, Mike Rencheck, signed the Canadian Electricity Industry Leadership Accord.
Cathy Sprague, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Bruce Power, says the accord itself gives them a strategy to create a culture of equality and inclusion within the company.
It will also allow women to grab a hold of more opportunities that are typically held by men or dominated by men within the workforce.
The newly signed Leadership Accord will also help better the overall performance and safety and provide new potential and different ways of thinking among such a diverse workforce.
