Bayshore Broadcasting weather specialist John Wilson says February was drier and warmer than normal.
Wilson says the day time highs in February were not exceptionally warm, but the overnight lows did not drop as low as the averages, putting the average for the month a bit above normal.
Wilson says we will get a little taste of spring this weekend but the trend for March will be drier with temperatures pretty well around normal, which is pretty much what we had last month.
