An OPP investigation into the pharmacy at the Kincardine hospital is over.
As Bayshore Broadcasting News first reported in December — the probe was launched after an audit of the pharmacy turned up a discrepancy in the drug supply.
South Bruce-Grey Health Centre CEO Paul Davies says the investigation is complete.
He says less than a thousand units of narcotics such as oxycontin and percocets went missing.
Davies cannot say if any suspects are being investigated or have been arrested — noting that matter is for the OPP to look after.
He says they have gone through the pharmacy policies, changed the locks and the number of keys to the facility that are floating around.
Davies says all pharmacy audit procedures have been reviewed — and notes they were stiff before, and are even stiffer now.
