Teeswater is home to one of the top curling bonspiels in the province this weekend.
The Teeswater Curling Club is hosting the 2010 Pepsi Junior Mens and Junior Women’s Curling Championships from January 2nd to the 6th.
Organizing Co-Chair Kelly Moran says eight mens and eight women’s teams will by vying for the chance to represent Ontario at the Canadian Nationals.
Moran says they’ve been meeting for the past year and half getting sponsorships and putting together hospitality packages to show participants and those travelling with them what it’s like to live in South Bruce.
He says this is the first time the Teeswater club has hosted a provincial event and notes everything has come together well.
