Brockton is starting off the New Year with a party and everyone is invited.
A New Year’s Day Levee is being hosted at the Walkerton Legion from 1 PM until 3 PM today.
The event is being co hosted by the municipality of Brockton and the Walkerton Legion.
Councillor Tim Mancell calls it an official yet casual welcome to the New Year.
He encourages everyone to take time out to attend the first social event of the year.
He calls it a great opportunity for residents to become better acquainted with their municipal representatives.
Mancell notes this is especially beneficial since this is an election year.
